Ads & Tracking Notice
Effective date: September 12, 2026
Publisher: Vlemon LLP
This notice supplements the Privacy Policy — Spark. It is intended for App Tracking Transparency (ATT), Google Play ads declarations, and user transparency.
1. Does Spark use ads?
Yes. Spark is free and shows adaptive banner ads on the main Vault / Generator / Settings shell, and occasional interstitial ads (rate-limited; not shown during PIN entry, credential editing, secret detail, or backup passphrase entry).
2. Ad technology
Spark uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may use device identifiers, IP address, and related signals to deliver and measure ads. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Ads Technologies policy.
3. Tracking (Apple definition)
On iOS, "tracking" has a specific meaning under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. Whether Spark requests ATT permission depends on the final AdMob / mediation configuration (personalized vs. non-personalized ads). Non-personalized ads may still use network access and limited processing under Google's policies.
4. What we do not do with ads
We do not send vault passwords, usernames, notes, or PINs to AdMob; use your credential contents to target ads; or sell your vault data.
5. How to reduce ads / personalization
- Device settings: limit ad tracking / delete advertising ID
- Upgrade to Monolith Vault (paid, no ads, offline-oriented)
- Export Spark data as
.monolith.vdocand import into Vault — see Data Export & Deletion
6. Children
Spark is not designed as a children's app and is intended for a general productivity audience.
